You can find Ruby Valley between Manaslu Conservation Area and Langtang National Park. This trek goes through the Ganesh Himal and Langtang Ranges on a brand-new set of trails. The trail is called Ruby Valley because the Ganesh Himal area has rocks containing gem rubies. Even though mining is not very important, this area has a lot of minerals, including this precious red stone.
Rhododendron, pine, and oak trees grow in thick forests that you can walk through. Take in the view of the snow-covered mountains, such as Ganesh Himal, Langtang, and Manaslu. On the auspicious day of Janai Purnima, thousands of pilgrims gather at the holy lake of Parvati Kund.
Also, there are a lot of shrines, temples, and Buddhist monasteries that are not of the same religion but work well together.
You will go through Langtang National Park and the Manaslu Conservation Area on the way. This will let you see rhododendron trees, oak trees, alpine forests, asparagus, caterpillar fungus, and sanjivini booti, among other rare and exotic plants. Animals like the ghoral, the snow leopard, the Himalayan deer, the barking deer, bears, the monal, and many kinds of birds will also make your walk memorable.
Ruby Valley Trek is best for people who want to hike in areas that are not very popular with tourists so they can experience real local culture, stay at home, and talk to people who live in the area. Tamang, Gurung, Magar, and Dalit are the main racial groups. In the upper part of Ganesh Himal, in villages like Tipling, Sertung, and Jharlang, the majority of the people are Tamang. In the lower part of Ruby Valley, there are Brahmans, Kshetris, and Dalits.
The Ruby Valley Trek links up with the Langtang and Manaslu Treks. You can keep trekking up Manaslu if you have time. That being said, please let us know if you want to change the plan; we will be happy to do that
