Our Story

Born from a love
of the Himalayas

See Nepal Travel & Adventure was founded in 2002 in Bagbazar, Kathmandu, by a team of passionate mountaineers and travel professionals who believed Nepal's wonders deserved to be shared with the world — responsibly and authentically.

Over 24+ years we have guided more than 5,000 travellers from every corner of the globe through Nepal's trekking trails, heritage sites, wildlife reserves and adventure hotspots. Every trip is planned with the same care we would give our own family's holiday.

We are government-registered, NTB-licensed and proud members of TAAN (Trekking Agents Association of Nepal). Our guides are certified, experienced and deeply connected to the communities they serve.

FAQ

Common questions

Do I need a visa to visit Nepal?
Most nationalities obtain a tourist visa on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM) or land border crossings. We recommend confirming with your nearest Nepalese embassy for the latest requirements.
What is the best time to visit Nepal?
The two peak seasons are October–November (crisp skies, great mountain views) and March–May (rhododendrons in bloom, pleasant temperatures). Monsoon season (June–August) offers lush landscapes at lower prices.
Are your treks suitable for beginners?
Absolutely. We have treks for every fitness level — from the easy Poon Hill (4 days) to the challenging Everest Base Camp (14 days). Every listing shows a Grade 1–4 difficulty rating.
What is included in the price?
Each destination page clearly shows "Cost Included" and "Cost Excluded" sections. Trekking packages generally include permits, guide, porter, accommodation and all meals on trail. International flights and travel insurance are always excluded.
How do I book a tour?
Click Book a Tour on any destination or package page, fill in the short form and we'll contact you within 24 hours. You can also call or WhatsApp us at +977 9813159680.
Do you provide travel insurance?
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering emergency medical treatment and helicopter evacuation. Insurance is mandatory for all high-altitude treks. We can recommend trusted providers on request.
