Overview
The Langtang Valley Trek is often called the "Valley of Glaciers". Located just 60km north of Kathmandu, Langtang offers stunning mountain scenery, Tamang culture and a less crowded alternative to the Everest and Annapurna regions.
The trail passes through dense forests, traditional Tamang villages and yak pastures before reaching Kyanjin Gompa at 3,870m, from where you can climb Kyanjin Ri (4,773m) for panoramic views of Langtang Lirung (7,227m).
