Overview
The Annapurna Base Camp Trek takes you to the heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary, a glacial amphitheatre ringed by some of the world's highest peaks including Annapurna I (8,091m), Machapuchare (6,993m) and Hiunchuli.
The trail passes through diverse landscapes — rice terraces, rhododendron forests, and alpine meadows — and through traditional Gurung and Magar villages. The base camp sits at 4,130m surrounded by an astonishing 360-degree panorama of mountains.
